Know where your leadership capacity is going, before you spend a penny fixing it
A benchmarked, board ready assessment of your senior team: where capacity is being lost, how you compare, and what it is costing the business
Why diagnose first
Diagnose before you prescribe.
Most organisations spend on wellbeing without knowing where their leaders are actually losing capacity. The result is a programme chosen on instinct and a board that never sees whether it worked.
The Workforce Capacity Diagnostic gives you the baseline first: a clear, benchmarked picture of where your senior team stands, what it is likely costing the business, and what would make the biggest difference.
- Where is our leadership team losing capacity?
- How do we compare with industry benchmarks?
- What is it costing us, in terms our board understands?
Three questions most boards can't answer yet. The Diagnostic answers all three.
What we measure
Ten dimensions of leadership capacity.
Each leader completes a short, private online assessment covering ten dimensions of capacity, including:
- Stress and calm
- Sleep
- Energy
- Focus
- Connection
- Purpose
We then benchmark your team's collective scores against published research from sources including Gallup, the CIPD and the Global Wellness Institute. With a few of your own business figures, such as absence and attrition, we translate what we find into financial terms.
How it works
Four steps, with very little of your leaders' time.
- Step 1
Kick off call
We agree who takes part, confirm your business figures and set the timeline.
- Step 2
Leaders take the assessment
Each leader completes the assessment online, in their own time, within a five working day window. They see a snapshot of their own results as soon as they submit.
- Step 3
Analysis and benchmarking
We analyse the collective results, compare them against industry benchmarks and model the financial cost.
- Step 4
Your board ready report
Delivered to your sponsor, typically within 10 working days of the assessment closing.
What you receive
A report you can take straight into the boardroom.
The headline finding. Where your leadership team stands, in one clear statement.
Your scores against benchmarks. All ten dimensions, compared with published industry data.
Where the risk sits. The dimensions most likely to affect performance, retention and absence.
The financial cost. Capacity loss translated into figures your finance team will recognise.
What would help most. A clear recommendation for what to do next, whether or not you work with us.
Three ways to use it
One assessment, three jobs.
A one off baseline of your leadership team's capacity, benchmarked and costed.
Repeated through the Workforce Capacity Programme, so you can see capacity change over time.
A pre and post measure around any other initiative, so you know whether it worked.
Privacy and data
Private for each leader. Collective for the organisation.
Each leader sees only their own snapshot, at the moment they submit. After that, results are held and reported as collective, anonymised scores. The organisation never sees an individual's answers. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
The Diagnostic assesses organisational capacity. It is not a medical diagnosis and does not replace individual clinical care.
Investment
Scaled to your team, and credited if you continue.
The Diagnostic starts from 6 leaders, with no upper limit. The more leaders who take part, the clearer and more reliable the collective picture.
Investment is confirmed on your call, scaled to the size of your team. If you move on to the Workforce Capacity Programme within 90 days, the Diagnostic fee is credited in full.
Questions leaders ask
Before you book
How many leaders can take part?
From 6 leaders, with no upper limit. Collective scores become more reliable as more leaders take part.
How much of our leaders' time does it take?
One short online assessment, completed in their own time within a five working day window.
Who sees the results?
Each leader sees their own snapshot when they submit. The organisation receives collective, anonymised results only.
Is this a clinical diagnosis?
No. It is an assessment of organisational capacity, designed and interpreted by an Advanced Respiratory Physiotherapist. It does not diagnose individuals.
What happens after we receive the report?
We send you the report with a clear recommendation and a note on next steps. There is no obligation to continue.
Can we use it to measure another programme?
Yes. The Diagnostic works as a before and after measure around any initiative, including ones we don't deliver.
